Selection: Bead (bud) should be firm, dry, with no yellow.

Preparation: Rinse, separate in florets or serving sized pieces.

Good for You: Broccoli is high in fibre and vitamin C, a source of many B vitamins including folate, many minerals including selenium. It’s an extremely beneficial vegetable.

And Tastes So Good: Steam; add a light cheese or mustard sauce; drizzle with lemon; or dob with butter; stir fry; don’t forget to include the peeled stems.

Storage: Rinse in cold water and store in plastic bag in fridge.

    No yellow bits here, just tight florets bursting with green goodness. You might say they are almost breathing! Loving the quality.
