Selection: Should be fresh, firm & green. Seeds should not be well developed.
Preparation: Rinse; top & tail, cook whole or slice.
Good for You: Contain some protein, fibre, Vitamins A, the B group, C and K
And Tastes So Good: Steam, serve hot with a knob of butter or warm with a favourite dressing, herbs and chopped nuts. Smother in oil and BBQ or roast. Try roasted wrapped in bacon. A real allrounder.
Beans were fresh, crisp and crunchy. Would recommend these as a must to every order if you love beans.
Not quite as tasty as expected - I guess I will just have to wait for the NZ to come into the shops.
These beans are always fresh and perfect and keep well. Great to throw in to a stirfry or steam.
